As a dedicated and detail-oriented accountant and management professional, Lyle Alexson has been meeting and exceeding the accounting and finance needs of corporations and governments for the past 25 years. Lyle Alexson currently works as an accounting supervisor for the City of Minneapolis where he supports the accounting/finance the Minneapolis Convention Center and Target Center handling large- volume financial operations to support those two buildings. Lyle specializes in capital assets and financial reporting accounting for millions of dollars of capital assets annually and creates numerous financial reports which highlight the financial picture of current and future years which assist executive management and elected officials in decision making. Lyle got his start in the accounting industry as an internal auditor for Target Corporation where he was promoted to supervisor after a year. Lyle has also served as an accounts payable manager of world-wide operations at a Fortune 500 company, a controller for two small companies, and a business manager at the State of Minnesota where he was responsible for all accounting and finance related functions. Lyle graduated with the highest honors – summa cum laude from Augsburg University in Minneapolis with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
